Volume 2 of the “Progressive By Nature” series is another mix featuring only tracks from my vinyl collection.
After Smight’s “Big Cash Money” the wonderful remix of “Invasion” by Eva Johnson and Medway sets the groovy tone for the first part of the set. Three originals by Quivver, Agent 001 and Pig & Dan pave the way for the second part which is kicked off by the dub mix of “Between U” by the mighty 16 Bit Lolita’s & Stef Vrolijk.
Things are getting hotter with Nic Fanciulli & Andy Chatterly’s Skylark remix of “Westworld” – a track released on Yoshitoshi in 2004. The Ceramix Mix of Peace Division’s “Take Me (I’m Yours)” is followed by “Scandal In New York” by Satoshi Tomiie. It almost can’t get any better than the bridge of this track.
The second half of the mix starts with the groovy Mike Monday remix of “Who Is It” and Mooncat’s “De Ja Vu” – a very nice deep Progressive House track released back in 2001 on Plastica. Two remixes by Ian Wilkie and Little Mike’s “Dirty Pusherman” are followed by Mike Monday’s remix of “Radiate” – another classic released on Additive Records. The last two tracks are Slide’s Slap-Bass Remix of “Lick The Hardcore” and “Stop Foolin’ Around” by Quicksound.
